I’m a New York-based Social Media Strategist and Digital Marketer passionate about helping brands, businesses, and creators build communities, spread ideas, and launch products.

I’d love to work with you.

I have extensive experience managing and executing digital marketing campaigns, content series, and community building to produce award-winning and business-generating projects.

Since 2011, I’ve been lucky to work with some of the world’s biggest and most impactful brands, both in-house and in agency environments. I have created, produced, and developed all aspects of global social and digital marketing programs, including comprehensive 360-integrated strategies for brands like Square, Sony, Dr Pepper, Perrier, and Burger King. My work involves transforming data-driven insights into creative projects, communication plans, worldwide trending social activations, audience-segmented content strategies, and platform launches.

I enjoy helping junior team members grow into their roles within my team and through external initiatives like the Adweek Mentorship Exchange.

Work Experience (Abridged)

Square

2021 – Current

As Square’s Global Social Media Lead, I lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and operations for Square's global social media team and discipline, aligning vision and strategy with broader marketing and business goals. Over the past few years, I’ve grown the scope and size of my direct reports on the U.S. social media team and assisted in scaling the international teams based on go-to-market business priorities. I direct the day-to-day prioritizations across the team and identify growth planning and ongoing learning development opportunities.

Sony

2014 – 2021

I joined Sony as a Senior Social Media Producer, using my extensive entertainment, gaming, technology, and cultural knowledge to evolve the legacy brand’s social media practice, produce day-to-day content, and lead community management. I established best practices and guidelines for omnichannel marketing of brand campaigns and digital projects. In 2018, I was promoted to the Social Lead, Brand Marketing, and in 2020, I was promoted again to the Global Social Media Marketing Manager. In this role, I led the development and execution of Sony's comprehensive social media marketing strategy across all channels.

Code and Theory

2014–2014

I joined the creative agency Code and Theory in 2014. My role involved managing digital campaigns, social media strategies and their execution, and community management for Burger King, Dr Pepper, Dr Pepper TEN, and Crush Soda. I also managed the creative briefing and development of content for clients’ social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Vine, and YouTube.

Mirrorball

2011–2013

At Mirrorball, an experiential and digital agency, I managed social and digital marketing campaigns for several clients, such as Perrier, Pernod Absinthe, Amstel Light, Hpnotiq, and L’Oréal. My duties included managing influencer partnerships, developing website content, and creating and executing social media strategies for our clients. I produced and managed all content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, and YouTube. My efforts helped increase brand awareness, grow and engage communities, and ultimately achieve positive business results for the agency’s clients.

Before entering the marketing industry, I worked for nearly a decade at a small, independent documentary production company. I developed, created, and assisted in producing TV and film projects for nonfiction television networks such as A&E, Bravo, and Discovery. I also worked as the Associate Producer for the feature-length documentary The Sweet Lady with the Nasty Voice, which tells the story of the life and legacy of legendary rockabilly and country music artist Wanda Jackson. The film was officially selected at over twenty festivals worldwide, including South by Southwest.

Besides my professional experience, I’ve been tinkering, exploring, and developing editorial and digital content in partnership with dozens of other like-minded brands since 2006 as a photographer, blogger, and creator. Select clients include Diesel, The Village Voice, MTV, Sparks, Time Out New York, VICE, Christian Siriano, Espolòn Tequila, HP, SPIN, VICE, Tiger Beer, Ace Hotels, The FADER, FORMAT, and Pabst Blue Ribbon, among others. Clips are available upon request.

In 2015, I spent the summer meeting & photographing over 100 people I’d “met” through digital means (social media followers/follows, connections made over email, etc.) for a project I called “FRIEND OF A FRIEND.” The project turned into a successful Kickstarter campaign to produce a book, create a gallery show, and host a launch party where all of the project’s subjects could “meet” each other. HuffPost called it “The ‘Humans of Social Media’ you never knew you needed.” You can purchase the book if you’d like.

I’m always open to exploring new opportunities, projects, speaking engagements, or a good conversation over coffee, so don’t hesitate to say hello. Get in Touch →
